AbstractThe main goal of this project is to produce a software which allows the user to use the model BRAZIL-SR and GOES images in order to get solar irradiation estimates without being necessary to know the radiative processes that occur in the atmosphere. This paper describes the development and operation steps of the software. It is been used by INPE to provide high spatial resolution maps of solar irradiation for South America in SWERA project.
